Why would anyone want to join jovie world?
by Doltologist ini can understand why someone who was born of jovie parents would want to leave jovie world.
i can see why someone who had joined jovie world would want to leave.
after all, why would you want to stay in such an evil institution?.

Doltologist, do you believe it is possible for a Christian to live apart from organized Christian religions? And if so, would you also believe, he or she, is apart from whatever organized religion is guilty of? -

It's an emotional thing
by Doltologist ini have exchanged posts with a number of you in the short time that i've been a member of this most excellent forum.. as i initially posted, i have aspergers syndrome.
in my case it is both severe and mild.
it is mild in that unless you talked to me for some time you would only think me a little odd.

Belief in God is not a emotional thing. It is the recognition that we are not alone. That the physical world around us is more than the result of a blind natural selection that just happened to make a place so unimaginably beautiful.
Logic dictates a belief in a higher power. Emotion comes into play when we acknowledge that we have been the recipients of such wonder. That emotion is called love.

Doltologist, Yup.
Then that would apply to Jim Penton, Ray Franz, Carl Olaf Jonsson, Ed Dunlap and others. The very men who originally put exJWs on the map. Religtards the whole lot.
Perhaps we should not then trust a word they said because as "religtards" they cannot be trusted to be of sound mind.
Throw out COC and Christian Freedom because a Religtard wrote it and who can say if he was in his right mind when he did.
I say this not only to you but to all here who claim to be atheists. You should not credit Raymond Franz with being of sound mind for after all he was a believer in what atheists call a myth, a sky god, and therefore in effect out of his mind.

Doltologist, "Religtards" a new derogatory term. Who does that apply to? All who believe in God? -

Cofty, either one is an atheist or he is an agnostic. If an atheist cannot in all honesty say he is 100% an atheist then what is he? A quasi atheist? That mean agnostic. Dawkins preaches atheism while at the same holding a card back.
He is an agnostic.

Doltologist, I suggest that atheists write up a whole new vocabulary.
I recently heard Neil Tyson at the American Museum of Natural History Department of Astrophysics- multiple times use terms which are originally associated with creation in reference to the universe and the solar system.
Evolution has no mind, it has no intent, it has no end game, it has no intended solutions.
Tyson needs to invent a different vocabulary for his atheism. So should you.

Cofty: On a scale of 1-7 he rated himself as a 6.
He is an agnostic then. Good for him. The intelligent man does not claim to know the unknowable.

Doltologist: The fact that Man exists at all is a miracle.
(emphasis mine)
There you have it. I agree.

"Jovie world" is demeaning not just to the Witnesses but to exJWs as well. They have a name.
